MAKEUP for Road Safety Training

To the 12 Sec 1 cadets who cannot attend the 5th June training,

NPCC HQ has given us the following MAKEUP training sessions for Road Safety Training.

They are,

13 June 930am to 1130am
13 June 230pm to 430pm
19 June 930am to 1130am
19 June 230pm to 430pm
20 June 930am to 1130am
20 June 230pm to 430pm
21 June 230pm to 430pm

THE 12 OF YOU, PLEASE TELL ME WHEN YOU CANNOT ATTEND. I will then work out a common date and we will attend the makeup training together. In the event that you cannot attend all the 7 slots, you cannot be promoted to the rank of Lanced Corporal this year. NPCC HQ requires a Sec 1 cadet to pass this badge before promotion to Lanced Corporal. Tell me which slot you cannot attend by emailing me at chchan@vs.moe.edu.sg (if you are overseas) or sms me at 97810649. Please identify yourself (Name and Class) and tell me which slot you cannot attend. THIS IS URGENT. If you really cannot attend all the 7 slots, email/sms me also and I will try my best to get a slot for you.

Road Safety Training

Dear Sec 1s,

All Secondary One cadets will attend the compulsory Road Safety Training at the Road Safety Community Park at East Coast Park. At the end of the training, you will have to sit for a written MCQ test related to Road Safety. The test paper will be marked by NPCC HQ after the course. Marking is done using your NRIC number, hence you must be aware of your NRIC number as you are required to shade your NRIC number in the OAS. Please be reminded that this badge is a compulsory badge for promotion to L/Cpl.

Time: 1:30pm
Attire: Fall in in Full NPCC Uniform (with Formation Signs sewed on)
Venue: Outside NPCC Room
What to bring: 2B Pencil and Eraser
How to go: A bus will bring you to the Park and send you back to school
Dismissal Time: 5pm from school

Phototaking

The phototaking session on Thursday 24 May is scheduled at 5:25pm. However, we should be ready in Full Uniform by 5:00pm. Due to unforeseen circumstances and delay, the photoshoot may finish between 5:45pm to 6:15pm. Please inform your parents about the possible delay and late dismissal.

Parade 24/05/07

Please take note that there'll be parade this Thursday, 24/05/07. Fall in by 2.15pm in your NPCC uniform. Bring along your PT kit. There will also be a photoshoot at 3.45pm. Cadets who are unable to make it please produce an excuse letter to be submitted to the NCOs. Thank you.

24 May Thursday Parade

Since the Unit is scheduled for phototaking on 24 May Thursday, a Muster Parade and Training Session will be held. Muster Parade will take place at 2:45pm. Please iron your uniform and arrange your badges in the NEW order, under the new directive. Those with long hair, please get a decent haircut, failing which you will be barred from the phototaking session.

Announcements

Sec 1s, please be reminded that on Friday,18-05-2007, you are to bring $6 for your formation sign. For those sec 1s who has problems with their uniform,they will go down to HTA on 21 May which is a monday along with the sec 3s. A bus will arrive at VS at 2pm to bring you to HTA. You will reach back VS at around 5pm.
