1) Pre Dry Practice Session - Monday 2 Mar 2009, 2.45pm at Amphitheatre. Attire is school uniform. Please remember to bring your grip trainers.
2) Dry Practice - Tue 3 Mar 2009. Assemble at 2.30pm at Foyer. Attire is school uniform.
3) Live Shoot - Tue 10 Mar 2009, Assemble at 2.00pm at Foyer. Attire is full uniform.

Friday parade on 27/2/09
Sec3s, there will be training this friday, however, there is no need for you guys to bring your full uniform. The attire when u fall in on friday will just be your normal pt kit. As i have told you last week, you guys will be having your campcraft test this friday that will include all you knots and lashes [round and square]. The respective timings for them will be given to you on friday. This information applies to non npdp people who have not obtained your campcraft badge, thus this week will be the final and only time that i will be holding the campcraft badge for you guys. So please do make the effort to turn up.

Thus the tentative date for the 1st session will be on the first week of march, probably on a wednesday or thursday. It will not be on tuesday as your dry shoot will be on that day. There will be more than one session so do take note.

Sec 3 Live shoot - 10 Mar 2009
Pls note that your live shoot will take place on 10 Mar 2009.
You are required to be in full uniform, as such, please ensure that all of your uniforms are in order prior to the shoot.

UOPA GOLD AWARD 2008
NPCC HQ announced yesterday that Victoria School NPCC Unit has been awarded the UOPA GOLD Award for 2008! This is our Unit's 9th Gold Award!
You have contributed to the Gold Award in one way or another. Let us continue to work hard for 2009 and clinch the Gold Award for 2009, our 10th Gold Award.
With the 10th Gold Award, Victoria School NPCC Unit will be conferred the Gold Drill Cane, the Unit Excellence Award!

Training on friday
Hi guys, sorry for the late notice but there will be training tmr, 20/2/09. For tmr's training, full uniform will be required as there will be muster parade. Hence u guys will fall in in your full uniform at 215 outside the np room. I will repeat this for the last time, no matter what fault u have with the uniform, i want you guys to bring every single part of the uniform that you guys have, no matter how little it may be. I do not wish to repeat this once more. However you guys also have to bring along your pt kit which i have said before is compulsory as long as you guys have training.

This coming wednesday, 18 of Feb, there will be a meeting for our squad with the sirs. This meeting is important and attendance from our whole squad is compulsory. Please turn up.

Dry Practice - 3 Mar 2009
hi all,
Before we head off for dry practice on 3 Mar 2009, please commit the following to memory:
1. Treat all firearms as if they were loaded.
2. Keep your finger outside the trigger guard at all times unless you are about to fire and are justified in doing so.
3. Never point the firearm at anyone/anything unless you are about to fire and are justified in doing so.
There are the 3 cardinal principles of handling firearms in the Singapore Police Force. Hence, commit this to memory and the world will be a far safer place for ALL of us (myself included).
For those of you who have a bit of trouble with your trigger control, you have a few weeks to rectify this. This is the cheapest method to enhance your forearm and finger strength, take a sheet of news paper, make sure it has two pages and it is a broadsheet [i.e. the Straits Times/Zaobao and NOT the New Paper]. Place your shooting hand in the middle of the paper and crush it into a ball. Keep crushing the paper until it becomes very soft and do it for a fresh sheet of newspaper.
Will do a demo when I see you on Friday.

Training this friday
Sec3s, there will be training this friday. There will be muster parade, therefore everyone is to bring their full u and fall in in your full u. However as i have said before, everyone is to bring along their pt kit every single training/meeting. This is complusory and i do not wish to repeat it again.
